Either way, the story direction is clear: Kerry Von Erich has seen the footage, David Manning has opinions about Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy is already hated, and the Freebirds/Von Erichs feud is officially underway.
The main story is the fallout from Kerry Von Erich vs. Ric Flair. Kerry sits down with Bill Mercer, watches the cage match footage, and explains that he doesn’t remember everything clearly after the cage door smashed him in the head. The key point is simple: in Kerry’s mind, Michael Hayes and Terry Gordy cost him the NWA World Heavyweight Title, and now the Von Erichs have a score to settle!
By the end, Robb and Scottie are clearly more excited about where the podcast is headed.
